Registration

New Student Registration:
Monday, June 14th 9 am – 7 pm
Tuesday, June 15th 9 am – 3 pm

Registration will be at the Web Academy office, located behind Dexter McCarty Middle School, 1426 SE 5th, Gresham, OR 97080. If you would like to complete the registration forms ahead of time click here to print out the forms to bring to our office with you and expedite the time needed to register. The registration packet includes a student registration form (basic information concerning address, phone numbers, etc), transcript request form (allows us to request your student's records from their previous school), a home language survey (it is required for us to determine what language is spoken at home by each student), and a photo permission form (this form indicates whether or not you will grant us permission to use your student's photo, artwork, and writings, in displays and on our web page. If you do not wish for your student's photo and other items to be used, please check no and return it with your other forms)

Returning Student Registration:
Monday, June 14th – Friday, June 18th from 9 am – 3 pm

Mentor teachers will be calling to make appointments with current students to set up a time for each student and a parent to come in, confirm registration information for next year, and turn in your loaner laptop. If you are unable to make an appointment during that week, please contact your mentor teacher to make other arrangements.



Field Day:
First Annual Field Day – June 10th – 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm

All GBWA students are invited and encouraged to attend our First Annual Field Day on June 10th, from 12:30 – 3:00 pm in the grass field behind the Gresham-Barlow Web Academy. This fun end-of-the-year celebration for students and staff will feature a balloon fight, pie toss at our principal, painting graffiti on staff cars and hot dogs, grilled up by our own Mr. Marquardt, along with chips, fruit, veggies, and soft drinks. If you like to participate in a shirt decorating activity, bring a shirt from home to use. We hope you’ll join us with cameras in hand to celebrate the end of our first school year!



Academic Recognition Day
June 7th – 1:00 – 2:00 pm

Our next Academic Recognition Day will be held on June 7th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm in the classroom. Students who have completed 63% of the coursework in each of their classes and are passing all of their classes will be invited to join in on the celebration!



8th Grade Promotion
June 8th – 4:30 pm

We are pleased to announce that the promotion ceremony for our 8th grade students and their families will be held on Tuesday, June 8th, at 4:30 pm at Dexter McCarty Middle School, Room #31. Gresham-Barlow Superintendent John Miner will be the special guest speaker for our first promotion ceremony. Congratulations to our students and their families on reaching this milestone!
